I don't recall how I stumbled across Gwyneth Paltrow's "lifestyle" website and newsletter, GOOP, but I promptly subscribed out of curiosity and I have to admit that I actually like it. Although the name GOOP leaves much to be desired. It actually reminds me of one of Rachael Ray's cringe inducing catch phrases. "Garlic oil on plate," anyone? Gwyneth's tag line is "nourish the inner aspect". In the website/newsletter she makes suggestions about what to make, where to go, what to get, what to do, how to be and what to see. Despite the criticism Gwyneth has received, one critic referred to her endeavor as a "holistic hot mess", she defends her project, “I’m not trying to be the next Martha. I feel like I have a lot of good information that women want to know and I want to share, and people can read it or not read it. I didn’t know that it would create such a brouhaha.” Why don't you...check it out for yourself.
