Lately I've been going through a felt dessert crafting phase. I've moved on from felt cakes and my latest project is a 4 inch piece of candycorn. The candy corn is made from felt (of course) which I sewed together by hand and stuffed with cotton.
This was a cross stitch pattern that I ordered from subversivecrossstitch.com. It only took a few hours to complete and was super simple. It reads "irony is not dead" and check out the pink bunnies at the bottom. [No my walls are not pink, I took this picture on a table.]
Very time consuming. Made with a kit purchased through Martha Stewart's now defunct catalog.
Tis the season for Poinsettias made from pipe cleaner. Inspired by Martha's Chenille Poinsettias. [No this is not the only vase I own.]
This was a project for a 3D art class. It says "Vanity" in Kanji. First I had to make a mold out of clay. Then a reverse mold was made out of plaster. Next I made a paper mixture which I lined the plaster mold with. Once dried, I removed the paper and voila.
Decoupaged tile coasters that are backed with felt. The theme of these is cruise ship travel (during an era when traveling was novel and glamorous).
This cake is made entirely of felt. It was sewn together by hand and then stuffed. It's topped with a strawberry which is also made of felt and then sewn on the top.

Another cupcake creation made with a Karen Lockhart cupcake stamp and Prismacolor colored pencils.
